No i didn't get the new O&G book. I sold off my goblins a while ago and at almost $40 its just to much to buy to look at. Which reminds me if any one is looking for VC let me know because I want to sell them off also. One Love _________________ Warhammer armies

I have thought about going VC from time to time, but honestly it would be a waste for me since I don't play fantasy at all anymore. |

Lol yea I just have too many armies trying to cut down a bit. Before I sold my goblins I had: them, VC, DE, BM, WoC, DoC, and Skaven. Not to mention IG, DE, Eldar for 40k and a ton of warmachine, malfuax, and ex-illis. Anyway point being I want to get rid of some armies and focus on my favorites. But if anyone is interested just pm me or post. I am also looking to unload my Dark elves, High elves (from Island of Blood), and Legion of Everblight. One Love _________________ Warhammer armies

I should have one of my armies finished this summer, when I come home from school. _________________ If this was easy, then every one would do it!

Heya Frost!
How's the Daemon Army coing along? I'm in the process of rebasing mine. Puttin' 'em all on round stands for 40K. I have a couple really cool movement trays made from the War Of The Rings trays. That way they can be used in the 41ts millenium, but still rank up for Fantasy.
And speaking of ranking, it's a billion times easier when they're on round stands. You can just give the model a little twist in either direction until they fit. Very very handy!
Maybe I'll take some pics soon. I put all my Plaguebearers on round stands and primed the movement tray. Just have to finish the actual stands and dry brush the tray. _________________ "Brian the Painter, doodily doodily ding dong doodily doodily doo!" |

I need to re-base my daemons on round bases too. I realized that trying to use them for bath games is a ridiculous idea. I am putting off on painting my daemons until I finish with my dwarfs, I am way behind on painting. I do have a few squads done but it is only like 1/8-1/4 of my army.

Frost, I -am- using them for both games.
I had Fantasy movement trays designed to accomodate my lesser Daemons with round stands. And with the big guys (monstrous creatures), you can tell front/flank/rear so there's not really any need to put them on squares. Or, you can be like the old days of 40K and keep the scary stuff on square stands. Daemonic Cavalry looks fine in 40K on rectangular cavalry stands.
So yes, it -is- feasible to use one army for both games.
Gonna have to check out them leaked TK pics tonight. Now if only some more DE pics got leaked. MUST... SEE... TALOS/CHRONOS... PLASTIC... KIT... _________________ "Brian the Painter, doodily doodily ding dong doodily doodily doo!" |

I it feasible, but I could not keep the rules straight that way. I figure since I have a ton of dwarfs still that I love to use why do I need a second fantasy army. Besides, I can base the daemons with 40k scraps and stuff to make them look more cooler.

I have no idea what they are, but I want 2-3 to use in an rpg campaign. D&D, Savage Worlds, Burning Wheel, anything... I would use them a ton. Okay, Burning Wheel doesn't use minis. But have those things painted up would really help convey some idea of a monster.
They look freakin' sweet! I can't wait to see them painted.
Also, during the summer I will hopefully get to painting my 'Nids. My poor swarm has been so neglected recently. No one to play, no time to play, no place to play. I hope this summer will help, even if I just play Steven and get crushed. It's good to have a gaming brother.
BTW: Did any new shops open up in the area? I know there is/was a place in Toms River, Close Encounters Comics. And there is The Game Room Store in Brick. Anything else? _________________ Face it, you're pretty much here as a meat shield.
