Well lets see i've been working, got engaged, digging work truck out of snow and when i have a chance i'm working on my black dragons.

I just finished my first brood of 10 Genestealers. Actually got a broodloard and everything. I figure between my stealers and my BaneBlade, I'll be able to field enough points to play Apocalypse.

Nice eldar.. I like the color scheme.

By the way what do you think about the Beastmen rules...I mean they are a block army now. Plus I don't think I like the new minatuar models I think they need more hair. But I do like the new ungors and gors models.

I dont mind them. I hate the no mixed units but other then that i kind of like it. Minos i dont mind its gws own twist on them. The 'eavy metal team did a bad job painting them. But yeah I will post up dates on here for my log if you guys arent members on warseer. One Love

That was worth waiting a million years for that Warseer thread to come through on my dial-up.

Very good work. Those Rangers are incredible!

I don't like what they did to the Beasties. I'm sure it probably makes them a more viable army, but I think it took away a lot of what made that force unique. And yes, the direction 'eavy Metal took with those Minotaur models was less than flattering. I'm not huge fan of new plastics, but at least the bulk and the poses of the new Minotaurs is nice.

Why is it Chaos Ogres don't use shields but wild, half-feral Minotaurs can?

And don't get me started on Ungors with bows. They're like Chaos Night Goblins

So chris just out of curiosity do you wash your base color and build up layers or dry brush?

Very cool warlocks. Not used to seeing such craftworld specific paintjobs on those models. Very cool.

I'm not a huge fan of Wave Serpents, but you did a great job painting yours. Keep up the good work.

What am I up to? Well, I just finished painting a female Rogue Trader Psyker from 1988 and I've done a smidge more work on my BaneBlade.

I think this counts, I'm working on building up my Tyranid army. It's only at like 1000 points. Also I began to paint them- poorly. There will be no pics because I am really bad right now. If I every get good and have something worth showing off I might.

I use mig pigments and a layers of drybrushing on the ground and layering on anything else like the skulls/ shields/ etc. More eldar to come soon. Thank for the comments. One Love
