Well at least a few people are caring about the names. That's good.

I just want to remind people before I lose my internet for the next couple days while we move back into my house- I will give extra XP for good RPing, props and costume use.

Monsters? Errrr...I like fighting creatures that play into the plot. Random creatures for the sake of novelty points are really hit or miss with me.

With that said, I really just prefer combat with a bit of a spin. Anything that sets an encounter apart is cool with me. Skill challenges, specific goals, so on and so on.

And actually, I'd like to know whether my character could be an Arab nomad, so I'd have an Arabic name. Like Abdul Hadeem.

You could be. You just need to explain how the hell you're in Egypt not Arabia. If you go with the "I'm a nomad" thing. Explain why you crossed the desert to go to Egypt. I'd be okay with that, you just need to give me the reasons why you are where you are.

Usi Idogbe (Smoke, Brother of Twins) if I decide to go with Weaponsmaster - Gauntlet. If I go Flail, I think Fenyang is appropriate (Conquer). I think I'll be going with "Fist of the North Star" in terms of combat, as I want my character to fast and painful, with lots of combat options, seeing as we can call shots and do awesome stuff like that.

My idea thus far is to have him be a head strong temple guard. Somewhat religious, but he had the job as an excuse to train and fight. Strong personal feelings, good and bad. Think a Domon of G Gundam attitude, while he's got a hole in his side he's yelling "I take every last one of yah! Bring it on!" Other than that, I thinking he's basically going to be an average city rat. Urban but unrefined.

Since this is ancient Egypt afterall, undead can certainly play into it, as can general purpose humans. I mean, as much as I like creatures you can do a lot with having to fight regular old flesh bags.

Well the Towers aren't human controlled. But there is nothing to say that people everywhere think that Heroes are a good thing.

How concerned should we be with equipment choices? Weapons I guess can be free game, but is everyone going to be running around in armor in 100 degree heat all the time? I like full plate as much as the next guy, but I don't think most people in Egypt would be wearing anything but cloth, leather, hide, etc, at least to start out. Shields are okay though, you just have to carry it, not wear it.

Armor is going to be something you will want and hate at teh same time. The protection is nice, but the heat will most likely kill you.

We had our first session yesterday. It think it was a success. The heroes made it to the third floor and even managed to level.

Next Saturday will be the next meeting time, then we will be off until October. What weekends are good then?

Well, the first tower has been destroyed.

One of you guys can sum up what happened. I need you to post what Saturdays in October you are available for.

Found out when we go home- the weekend of the 17. We have no classes on the 19 so they should kick us out on the 16th. The 10th still looks good as does the 24th.

I think Derek may have something going on on the 10th in October. Post up when you guys are good.
