Tournament is tommarow night. I have two new people that can go and possibly a third.
On a Seperate note, I would like to get your oppinions on running a traditional format tournament once a month. _________________ The first rule of Yugioh is: Don't talk about Yugioh.

Yay two or three new people. I can't wait to meet them. I Will Defenitly be at the tourney tommorrow.
Also I think its a terrible idea to have traditional tournements every month because i had enough yata locking, chaos, And Magical Scientist for a lifetime. On a second note Im sure it would take the fun out of the game for the other players too. No thanks for the Traditional Tournements. |

Okay new people are very good, great for the tournaments.
I may be late tomorrow because of family commitments and other things up north, but I will try to make it by at least 6:30.
Traditional would run something like this: Begley and whoever else can run chaos and brokenness wins, all others suffer. Congrats to a format not even played on the pro circuit due to its explosive and ridiculous nature. I would like to try it, but I do not think it would be fair or fun for anyone but the top players. Vote: No Traditional _________________ Face it, you're pretty much here as a meat shield.

Traditional isn't run on the pro circut because if it was there would be no need for advanced to exist, and i am also suggesting it because i hear time and time again, people asking if a card is banned (usually you Erik) and then groaning when they find out it is. _________________ The first rule of Yugioh is: Don't talk about Yugioh.

True enough, but it is not fair to everyone else. Perhaps later on when skill level has improved, but for now I don't think the tournament is fair for the younger players. They have enough trouble building decks to win, give us a format with every card and they have no chance. I like the idea, but I can not condone this format until more players can take us in games. _________________ Face it, you're pretty much here as a meat shield.

Tournament results for tonight are as follows:
10 player tournament
top 4 players:
Begley (Phoenix) vs Nick (Burn)
Cad (Jank Monarch) vs Greg (Good Stuff)
Nick advanced to the finals after winning 2-1, Greg also advanced 2-1. The top two players split the prize. _________________ The first rule of Yugioh is: Don't talk about Yugioh.

Who can attend tomorrow? I would like to have a rough estimate of who is going.
Any more thoughts on traditional? I like the idea, and it wouldn't be that bad. Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, Monster Reborn, Cyber Jar, Fiber Jar, and great stuff like Breaker come back.
I say we do this. It would be just a one time thing if it turns out poorly. Even if the cards are more broken, the game play is much more fun. We could even modify the Traditional list to keep it in line. I say we bring in a traditional tourney in the near future. _________________ Face it, you're pretty much here as a meat shield.

I still hate traditional since i think it takes all the fun out of the game. I hate chaos (the decktype) its virtully invincible, My gosh the only deck type that stands a chance is magical scientist OTK or some other kind of cookie. I like advanced better since it is more fair to every player and gives more decktypes a chance like heroes, zombies, and machines.
But its worth a try with traditional. It won't kill anyone just to used banned cards just once a month.
My Vote: (I can't decide lol.)
PS: I can be at the gaming geek tommorow guys Woot. |

Tonight's tournament had seven people playing. Some faces reappeared tonight and the regulars continued to slug it out. While hoping to get more attendance next week we move on to the report.
In Fourth Place: Charlie piloting a Zombie Swap deck
In Third Place: Erik piloting the Samurai deck
Proving that the Monarchs are overpowered and ban/limit worthy (mostly ban worthy) Cad piloting Monarch Jank and Mitch piloting Monarchs take the top two. These two players tied in the finals and agreed to split the prize. _________________ Face it, you're pretty much here as a meat shield.

Nice job guys, Im very happy with my zombies peformance this week. It will be my main deck for a while, It seems alot more consistent then dinos. Alot more in my opinion.
Also monarchs should be banned, They are broken.
Card Advantage + Beatstick = Broken |
