Hi,

Purchased, started, and stopped after 35 minutes (according to Steam); can't really remember the reason but I guess I just didn't know what to do.

- Took a look at it again today, just did some random stuff, night approaches, I'm dead. Restart. Watched a beginner's video from the Terraria wiki, how to build shelter etc.

- Created a new game, build shelter for me and the annoying guide (who doesn't care for it and rather stays on an elevated hill). I wonder: how the hell can I skip night time? Am I just doomed to wait for 9 minutes to get 15 minutes of playtime? I'm just a starter, so not much to do at night yet. Start to create a backwall for my shelter to waste some time. All of the sudden, zombies open up the door (WTF?). Dead. Quit.

So, even after watching the tutorial video I have no idea how to start this game. I mean, there's no way I can fight the zombies, but I also don't wanna spend half the playtime watching darkness. Help?

Please help.

Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
