Thanks, Gorka. The 'quins look much better in person.
I just finished my Death Jester last night. Now I officially have a legal squad (Shadowseer, 2 Troupers with H-K's, 1 Trouper with Fusion Pistol, and a Death Jester). Will probably work on my other three in-between working on my Kabalites. I'll be working on the Master Harlequin last, since he'll be the most intricate.
And if I get burnt out on working evil elfies, I can work on Genestealer Cult vehicles. Gotta finish those two Chimeras, two Scout Sentinels, and old school half-metal Hellhound.
Oh and finish the BaneBlade if there's time
BTW, I got a friend to upgrade my Valkyrie with magnets. Now the rocket pods, Hellfury/Hellstrike missiles, and Vendetta twin-linked lascannons are swapable. He also magnetized the missiles for my Manticore. I am so stoked!
If I don't hear from you guys, have a good Turkey Day. _________________ "Brian the Painter, doodily doodily ding dong doodily doodily doo!" |

Well if you dont plan on playing either army dont get it. Skaven are a horde army with 100+ models. High Elves are an elite army with low T. The closest places are Brick (the Game Room Store), Sea Girt (JSH), and Northfield (Jesters). One Love _________________ Warhammer armies

Check it out, I finally finished it!
http://kidcthulhu138.tripod.com/40K/baneblade.html
Now thems some big guns!
Oh yeah, some quick advice for Jipss; check eBay to see if anyone is selling the mini-rulebook for Isles Of Blood separately. Grab that and then try out some smaller scale games using other player's models. That'll give you a feel for the game and help you pick an eventual army. Don't wanna drop a ton of money on a boxed set with models you won't use. _________________ "Brian the Painter, doodily doodily ding dong doodily doodily doo!" |

I really like that Baneblade. The metal showing on the corners adds a nice touch. The picture with the flames and smoke, is that panel normally painted so beat up or is that a clip-on or something like that when the tank gets some damage on it?
Great job! _________________ Face it, you're pretty much here as a meat shield.

Heya Razjah! Thanks for the compliments.
The scratched hull/visible metal is the weathering I do for all my Cult vehicles. As a matter of fact, I'm doing that right now to a pair of Chimeras for my armored fist platoon. You just put a line of black on all the edges where plates meet, then carefully put boltgun metal on it while making sure some of the black is still visible.
The blown apart side panel is what it looks like when I take the side sponson off. If you glue together the whole sponson separately, it fits on the top without having to be attached permanently. If a Weapon Destroyed result takes out a sponson, I remove it from the vehicle and show the exposed "damaged" panel.
I'll probably take another big photo of all my finished Cult models when I finish the two Chimeras. Then I'll take a group photo of my all-Genestealer army when I finish the two Tyrant Guards for my Patriarch.
Then there's always my DE! I have finished five Wyches, six Harlequins, a Raider (well, I still have to do the removable passengers), and my two Haemonculi.
Yeah, I'm busy busy busy. Expect more pictures soon! _________________ "Brian the Painter, doodily doodily ding dong doodily doodily doo!" |

So overall, how is 8th edition fantasy? I own the rulebook, but never played the game. |
