-1 Solemn
-1 Pot of Avarice

Solemn sucks as a 1 of because the chances of getting it at the right moment aren't good. You can use it to protect your stuff, but there are easier ways to do that. Also paying 1/2 your life with gadgets getting smashed up isn't such a good thing.

Pot of Avarice doesn't need to be at 2 with only 2 of each gadget. You will probably have one in hand well before you have the 5 dead monsters to use it.

I updated the deck again from testing.

The deck thins really fast, so Solemn isn't too bad. Pot of Avarice is just insane with the way the deck shoots out monsters. A second Cyber Dragon would be good though. I might just add it for 41 cards, I don't know lol.

Creature Swap is good because it has so many targets. The Gadgets, Peacekeeper, Machina Fortress, and Machina Armored Unit.

Brain Control is mainly to help me push for game, and for Synchro summons etc. It can also help me tribute summon in a pinch, although unlikely.

I need to pick up Sarc lol. They would be god in here.

keep brain because yes it will be good for a game push. swap however does not..it should be replaced by a monster kill card. not a -1 card like swap. you may have a bunch of weak mons to swap with but thats not reason to put it in. and for the record swap doesn't target.

as for the macro deck:

-2 enemy controller
-2 skill drain
-1 solemn judgement (stop putting the 1x solemn in everything. just because you own it doesn't mena it has to be run in everything)

+3 banisher if the radiance (how is this not in there already)
+3 assailant

not if they wanted to slow the game down. which they did. frankly i dont care that allure is at one though or that we lack draw power.

I was just asking if they took down the draw card spells again. There was a time of 2 d-draw and 3 allure. Before that there was almost nothing. I just wanted to know the state of the game. Besides, Magic isn't allowed to draw cards anymore in standard.

they took d-draw down too so the d-engine is finally out of our hair. andthey wrecked lightswornto the pointwhere their draw card doesn't mean a thing

Final build, and the deck is mad good.

It is funny that the build I made at the beginning of the format, just so happened to look very similar to the one which won the huge Garden City tournement.

The deck plays just like Card of Safe Return Zombies. Just get multiples +1s in one turn, and just swarm like mad. This is the cheapest tier one deck there ever was. It has been winning regionals for a reason.

Is the single Card Trooper worth it? I think the could be something better, maybe.

Also I would ditch the 1x Solemn. I don't think it will be good enough for the times when you have it. Or you will not have it when it really matters.


List looks really tight- did you build it or is this a net deck?

I built this at the beginning of the format, but someone won a regional with a very similar deck. I saw the list, but I liked my version better. I just tested the deck, and made edits. =)

The Card Trooper is searchable through Machina Armored Unit, mills cards for Pot of Avarice/Scrap Recycler, and gets Machina Forretress to the graveyard. It is a beatstick, and gets a free draw when it dies.

1 Solemn is fine in my opinion. It is just another one of those power cards. With all the draw power, and thinning, you should get it pretty reliably, and it just protects your swarm and your backfield.

I decided to ditch Cyber Dragon, since it made the deck vulnerable to Chimera Forretress Dragon, and the fact that Cyber Dragon is dead most of the time because of Machina Armored Unit.
