DAD's reign is over, In my opinion zombies will now be just the ultimate counter deck, until crimson chaos pack comes out, and the Dark Synchros...

I mainly say this because DAD has to remove cards from the grave, pretty much, that whole deck is removing cards, to activate effects am I right? Chester you run it? So explain to me... Im sticking with this opinion, it shows in the zombie world structure deck and the zombie synchro comming out for cross roads of chaos. Good luck every other deck, =_= zombies new deck type to beat. Once again lol

Zombie's aren't that good. Zombie World isn't fully funtional this format anyway. The dominent decks do not really tribute much except Monarch builds, and they do not see much play. Most of the time with Zombies you would revive a Zombie anyway. Most of that Zombie support that goes with Zombie World relies alot of that single field card. This is why Gravekeeper Aggro decks were never top tier.

Zombie's were tier one last year, however they were not dominent. The other tier ones PCM and CO Burn always faught with it for dominence and eventually Raida ended up taking away any chance for Zombie's to be dominent that format.

Zombie's will be VERY powerful and will be tier one in my opinion, but I sorta doubt they will destroy everything in its way. Tele-Dad would be its number one competitior.

I ran Zombie's competitively for a very long time. They have always been powerful, they have never really been overpowered though.

The structure deck is not enough to say DAD's reign is over. If you are talking about "Imperial Iron Wall" the new card which prevents removal, that is definetly not enough.

1. The card is not good enough to be main-decked. It could see play in side decks but that means only in games 2-3.
2. It's a trap, it's slow.
3. The ruling is that if you chain it to Allure, you just show the dark and don't have to dump your hand, which kinda made it gay.
4. Breaker, Stratos, Solemn, Heavy, etc. With extensive draw power the deck can easily find outs to IIW.

Zombies might make a bit more of a push with Zombie World. It allows for alot of innovation to be done with Zombies and the ability to play new monsters. The deck has not made it tier 1 yet though.

When Crossroads of Chaos is released zombies will get a more important push off of the card Plaguespreader Zombie(Zombie Carrier, gay american name).

Unfortunately Plaguespreader will still make Lightsworn way more competitive than it will Zombies.

In the end, TeleDAD will survive and most likely win SJC's to come even after Crossroads release. Will there be like 12-14 TeleDAD decks in every top 16? Probably not, but it will still be the top deck.

Thanks Chester.

I have a quick question though, What does Zombie Carrier do and how does it help Lightsworns?

Zombie Carrier:

2 star/ zombie/ Tuner/ Dark < 1000 Atk Crushable

When this card is in your graveyard, you can place the a card in your hand to the top of your deck to Special Summon it. When it is Special Summoned this way, when it is removed from the field, it is removed from play.

This is not the exact text but that is what it does.

Mhm, I can see why that helps Lightsworns a ton.
